AWARDS

Student of the Month
For each month of the school year, two students are chosen from every class to receive the Student of the Month Award. Students are chosen by their homeroom teachers to be recognized for their Christian, social, or academic values. These awards are distributed publicly, at the First Friday Mass of each month.

Student of the Week
Each week, students in grades 1 and 2 are chosen by their teachers to be recognized for their contributions to the classroom.

Perfect Attendance
Any student who has, throughout the course of the school year, NEVER been absent or late, receives the Perfect Attendance Award at the end of the year.

The Gonzalo Tesoriero Scholarship
In 1985, a tragic accident took the life of an Our Lady of Fatima 6th grader, Gonzalo Tesoriero, much too soon. In his memory, each year, one deserving sixth grader is awarded this scholarship for his or her outstanding Christian Service and academic ability.

The Theresia McCann Scholarship
Not long ago, one of the beloved members of the OLF secretarial staff passed away. Theresia McCann had worked at Our Lady of Fatima for 35 years, and so, in her memory, one sixth grader is awarded this scholarship for displaying the same Christian kindness for which Mrs. McCann was so known and loved.

Graduation Awards
At the 8th grade graduation ceremony, awards are distributed to students in recognition of Christian qualities, academic success, outstanding service, and many other talents and merits.
